Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place the beef strips in a bowl. Add 20 g soy sauce and 5 g cornflour. Mix well to coat the beef and set aside to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and ginger to the mixing bowl. Chop 5 sec / Speed 5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with the spatula.
  3. Add 20 g vegetable oil to the bowl. Sauté 5 min / 120°C / Speed 1. Remove the measuring cup and place the simmering basket on the lid to prevent splatter.
  4. Add the marinated beef strips to the mixing bowl. Sauté 6 min / 120°C / Speed 1 / Reverse. Ensure the beef is separated and not clumped together. If necessary, pause and stir with the spatula.
  5. Add the bell pepper strips, 30 g soy sauce, and 100 g water or beef broth to the bowl. Cook 8 min / 95°C / Speed 1 / Reverse. Place the simmering basket on the lid instead of the measuring cup.
  6. Pause, scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl with the spatula. Check the consistency and adjust liquid if needed.
  7. In a small bowl, mix 10 g cornflour with 20 g water to create a slurry. Add this slurry to the mixing bowl through the lid opening. Cook 2 min / 90°C / Speed 1 / Reverse, with the simmering basket on the lid, to thicken the sauce.
  8. Stir in 10 g sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix 10 sec / Speed 1 / Reverse.
  9. Serve immediately over rice or noodles, if desired.
