Thermomix recipe: Apple, Carrot, and Banana Puree Pouches. Ready in 25 minutes. Serves 6. Step-by-step Thermomix instructions on Chef Amai.
Ingredients
- 250 g apples, peeled, cored, and quartered
- 150 g carrots, peeled and roughly chopped
- 100 g water
- 100 g banana, peeled (about 1 medium banana)
- 5 ml lemon juice (optional, for freshness)
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Peel, core, and quarter the apples. Peel and roughly chop the carrots. Set aside.
- Add the chopped apples, chopped carrots, and 100 g water to the mixing bowl. Cook for 12 minutes / 100°C / Speed 1.
- Add the peeled banana, 5 ml lemon juice (if using), and a pinch of cinnamon (if using) to the bowl. Blend for 1 minute / Speed 7, gradually increasing to Speed 10 for the last 30 seconds, until completely smooth.
- Check the consistency. If it is too thick, add an additional 10-20 g of water and blend for 10 seconds / Speed 7.
- Carefully transfer the warm puree into clean, reusable food pouches or small airtight containers. Allow to cool completely before serving or storing.
- For the last 1-2 minutes, if the puree is still warm, you can gently stir it at 90°C / Speed 1 (Reverse) to ensure even distribution and prevent sticking before transferring.
